The 29th annual Royal University Hospital Foundation’s Greek Gourmet Feast on Wednesday March 6th in once again being presented by Manos Restaurant, and once again this event has been sold out.
The Manos staff has been a large part of the success of this event as they give of their time freely. This year will be no exception as the management and their teams will volunteer their time once again. The time commitment for this event is huge totaling well over three hundred hours.
The entertainment this year is highlighted with traditional Greek song and dance.
The Menu this year will begin with a Champagne and Hors D’oeuvre reception.
As guest are seated they will be presented with an array of appetizers. Dolmades, spanakopita, shrimp scampi and Greek ribs. The soup an all-time favourite Avgolemono with he Traditional Greek Village salad. The Entrée is Beef Tenderloin Arcadian, Canada’s finest, “AAA” beef tenderloin rolled in an aromatic herb crust and roasted to perfection. Expertly carved onto a savory bed of wild mushrooms in a rich red wine demi glace, accompanied by dauphinoisse potato and fresh seasonal vegetables.
And no feast at Manos Restaurant is ever complete without dessert. This year’s menu will feature Baklava and Galaktobouriko (custard in phyllo pastry)
